Detect and resolve duplicate ads using fingerprint matching.
Ad Duplicates
Located under: Ad Management menu
This page identifies potential duplicate ads based on similar audio or video fingerprints. It is particularly useful when working through a client report that contains many creatives suspected of being duplicates.
How to Use
Blind Search (no specific Ad ID)
- Specify whether you are searching CA or USA ads.
- Specify whether you want Audio or Video ads.
- Optionally apply additional filters: Exclude Promos, Exclude Billboards.
- Click Search to load results.
Targeted Search (specific Ad ID)
- Enter the specific Ad ID in the Ad ID field.
- Apply the CA/USA and Audio/Video filters as needed.
- Click Search.
Results Layout
Results are presented in three columns:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Ad ID | The ad you are evaluating for duplicates |
| Matches | A list of suggested duplicates based on similar fingerprints — click the play button to listen to both ads simultaneously |
| Actions | Options to merge or ignore each match |
Merging or Ignoring
After listening to both ads:
- If the ads are a match — use one of the two merge buttons:
- > Merge — merges the Ad ID (left) into the match (right)
- < Merge — merges the match (right) into the Ad ID (left)
- If the ads are not a match — click Ignore in the third column to remove the suggested match from the report.
