Adease Taxonomy Guides
Select a class below to open its categorization guide. Each guide explains how to assign the correct Category and Subcategory to a product within that class.
The Adease taxonomy is used to classify the products promoted across all media tracked by Adease — television, radio, flyers, ecommerce, newspaper, magazine, and more. Classification is applied to the product itself, not to individual ads. A classified product can then be linked to any number of ads across any medium.
Each product is assigned three taxonomy levels — Class, Category, and Subcategory — and linked to a Company, Brand, and Product record. For a full explanation of how the system works, see Understanding the Taxonomy.
Classes
The taxonomy is divided into 31 classes. Guides marked as available can be opened from the Categories section in the sidebar.
